Description: I was thinking of starting a design blog which got me started on this design, haven't made up my mind if I am going to start one yet though. Don't really like the Background and Navigation Bar on this particular design, didn't really have many ideas about it really. What do you all think about it?

I think the basic layout is ok, but there are several things that don't work well together.
It seems like there are too many fonts used. That gives the layout some cluttered look.
The idea of the bokeh is nice, but it your case it is too bold and doesn't really wrap the content. The cut off parts don't look that well and it's too big imo.
Maybe use smaller bokeh and give the content more spacing to breath. Everything is too close together.
